We spent 2 days in Carmel which we had breakfast twice at the amazing Bistro. Food was great. The place is beautiful. Rima was the best server we met in long time. Shemade us feel like we are regulars! Highly recommend to try their turkey sussage and their bitter orange jam.

We visited Village Corner Bistro during the 4th of July weekend earlier this year. We were mesmerized by the ambiance and the wonderful staff. We had to drive around to get some parking and then there was some wait because it was a long weekend but yes it was totally worth it. What we ordered: We got an Eggs Benedict as well as a Chicken Sandwich. The verdict on the food itself is a full 5 on 5! The food was too good, it looks delicious just sitting there on those plates and it didn't disappoint us at all. The food was just perfect and I cannot stop praising it! The Service: Awesome food was coupled with terrific service, the hosts and serving staff were very courteous as well as jolly! They kept checking-in with us at regular intervals and overall they all seemed happy. We observed their interactions with regulars and non-regulars and it was refreshing to see. They offered drinks on the house while we were waiting outside for our table (I think it was Bloody Mary or Mimosa). What we saw: Now this is where things get even better, the whole establishment looked so intimate and cozy, it was noisy like any other busy place would be but there was something about the decor, the setup and the general vibe of the place that we loved. All in all, it could get over 5 stars because they hit every single checkbox on my review sheet.

This place is super cute! I got the NY steak and it was amazing. My partner got the lamb shank. We went for lunch and the lamb shank was not on the lunch menu but the restaurant accommodated him and made it anyway! Definitely some great service here. Whenever we come back in the area, this will be a must-eat place on our list, for sure.

Greeted immediately and set up for special lunch on the fireside patio table. RIMA ..was gracious and professional (she'd helped me before) Loved the fresh bread service & staff checking in throughout my dining visit. My meatballs marinara starter made for a great lunch meal. ***** stars

Carmel has a vibe of its own and this place feels like a Carmel diner. The patio was full throughout the time we were there. The woman who served us was very friendly and spoke to us for a while. We enjoyed the omelette and French toast.

Our first time here today and we liked it. We were a party of 9. Ordered calamari, halibut pasta, crab ravioli, Alfredo pasta and margarite pizza. Food was good, service was very friendly and quick. Ambiance was casual and nice.

This was my second time visiting Village Corner Bistro, and I love it so much! It's a great spot for traditional brunch and lunch, with quick service, indoor and outdoor seating, and great vibes. The customer service is excellent too. They have amazing iced teas and fresh-pressed juices. I had the lox bagel, and I was shocked by the portion size--it had more salmon and cream cheese than I knew what to do with (but of course, I boxed it up!). The salmon was so fresh and made for a perfect lunch after a big morning walk. My boyfriend had the French toast, which was delicious and homey, with just the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. I highly recommend checking this place out for brunch or lunch in Carmel. There's something for everyone on the menu!

Village Corner Bistro is conveniently located in the heart of Carmel's business district. Family run, staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Seating inside or on the covered patio. I found the menu to be varied with something for most tastes. I enjoyed my Huevos Rancheros very much. The prices are reasonable for the area. The clientele were a mix of locals and tourists, everyone relaxing and enjoying the pleasant and relaxing surroundings.
